Costs
Just Do the Math – Once You Add It All Up, You’ll End Up in Saxony
“Made in Germany” has its price. “Paid in Saxony,” however, is surprisingly inexpensive: Thanks to its flexible tariff models, moderate wage level (25 % below the German average), and high labor productivity, Saxony is always the first choice when it comes to reducing costs. Favorable real estate prices and outstanding logistics all help minimize business setup and operating costs. And so that the German tax rates don’t spoil the calculation – deductions are expressly permitted; that’s why the actual tax burden in Germany is often significantly lower than in many neighboring countries in (Eastern) Europe.
Specific cost advantages become apparent for the Meißen Region when compared to the state capital Dresden. Under equally favorable conditions with regard to location, logistics, etc., these benefits are primarily found in the less expensive real estate prices and reduced labor costs of the county.
